Afternoon my strapping gents. Let’s talk wool. Who doesn’t love it? on a bitter cold day only so many sweaters, or coats can manage to keep your body temp at a toasty 98.6 F. That’s why Wool is VITAL. let’s have a quick history lesson in wool, courtesy of wikipedia.com (gotta love those not-so-primary sources) “Wool is the textile fiber obtained from sheep and certain other animals, including cashmere from goats, mohair from goats, qiviut frommuskoxen, vicuña, alpaca, camel from animals in the camel family, and angora from rabbits.” ALSO “Because of the crimp, wool fabrics have a greater bulk than other textiles, and retain air, which causes the product to retain heat.” SO in short, if one is to sport a wool blazer on a windy day, one is more likely to retain heat as opposed to other alternatives! you can count me in this season! You can only imagine my face when I found the last 36 blazer at H&M, it was a done deal! out I strolled, confidently, prepared, and above all warm!
