It’s almost Christmas! Can I get a hallelujah?! I’m here sitting in beautiful Southern California with my family around the couch, all watching Netflix. Not much changes when I come back and in a way it’s a refreshing contrast from New York’s pace. My brother’s still excelling at hockey, my parents are still chugging away at work and here I am, blogging just like my 17 year old self would’ve approved. It’s funny how things change…or don’t?
It’s almost 2015 and despite my nonchalant attitude recently, I’m a little apprehensive. I’ve always been the guy who never got his hopes up because I know nothing lasts. But at the same time I should believe in myself and my talents at this stage of the game. I love fashion blogging and I want to continue to do this till I’m about 30 but what about after that? what about my nonexistent degree or lack of internships? At the end of the day I doubt myself just like anyone else but I’m slowly but surely changing my mindset. I’ve realized that you just have to believe in yourself and trust your creative abilities. I want to be the “influencer” that dabbles in a variety of different fields and spreads the wealth that is creativity. A book, television show, youtube channel, and acting part are all very, very good possibilities on the horizon. Let’s not speak too soon but you heard it here first. 2015 is going to be one for the books and I’m so happy to have you guys tagging a long because frankly, I need you.
Let’s talk outfit. I compiled this ensemble together from a bunch of my recent deliveries at the office. A nylon jacket, cable knit, polished satchel, and tortoise sunnies all seemed to arrive for the same party. The Winter Formal. We mustn’t forget the highlight and game changer- the oxblood newmans by Paul Evans. A new favorite especially paired with navy dress trousers. Check out these guy’s site HERE.
I’m not sure Nick or I will get another post up before christmas but if we don’t then please have a wonderful and safe Holiday with family or friends! Start thinking about your new years resolutions too! cheers
