Paris is just one of those places where it doesn’t matter how many times you visit, the unwavering romantic vibe never seems to wear off. This was my third time visiting and even though it was slightly more rainy then the others, it still was as stunning as ever. From the architecture to the culture and of course the monuments, Paris will always have a place in my heart.
This time around I was invited by Sperry to attend the #sperrygraymalin event at the world renown Colette store. Gray Malin is an incredibly talented photographer who specializes in aerial shots of lifestyle situations (summer at the beach, picnics in the park, skiiers on the slopes, etc.) needless to say it caught Sperry’s attention thus resulting in this really cool collection. Even though I only sported the black and white umbrella sneaker for the weekend, there’s 3 other pairs with unique designs too. The seacoast sneaker, the cape town slip on and the seacoast boat shoe. Now not only can you buy a framed picture of his work, you can also buy a pair of shoes with them as well. These kinds of artistic collaborations is exactly what I love. I think it resonates well with the young folks and gives artist’s the chance to be in a new kind spotlight. Make sure to check out his site here and the collection here.
In my down time, when it wasn’t raining, I moseyed around the city taking some snaps with my camera. Paris is wonderful in the way that you always are finding new things to smile at. Wether it’s a cafe facade or flower market, everything is so…perfect.
