FEATURING: Mont Blanc 1858 collection
A couple weeks back I had the privilege to attend yet another dreamy MontBlanc event in Mexico City. With the launch of the new 1858 collection came a frenzy of press from all over the world and time-piece lovers alike. The collection “Is inspired by the heritage of Minerva as one of Switzerland’s most revered timekeeping specialists” and comes to life in the face of the watch similar to those of 1858. I was given the opportunity to wear the manual small second limited edition piece while we were exploring and photo-shooting the historical sites of Mexico City. My favorite place -hands down- was Chapultepec Castle which sits promptly atop one of the tallest hills in the city and boasts views over downtown and the park. From the intricate details to the paintings and stained glass, it felt like we had stepped into another world. I soon found myself becoming a subject of the past, wearing this retro blue suit, vintage inspired time-piece and surrounded by the incredible setting. It was such a nice moment to capture and I’m excited that I can finally share it with you all.
Most of the preconceived notions about safety issues in the city weren’t an issue for us. They were quite a lot of areas that had plenty of tourists and areas to explore safely.
Thanks again to MontBlanc for having me out for a third time to celebrate such a special event. I look forward to more in the future! Make sure to check out the new 1858 collection HERE and see if it takes you back in time as well..
