Not even 48 hours off the plane from Lisbon, Nick & I hit the streets of NYC to capture one of our favorite spots for Express at sun down. There’s something so moving and nostalgic about the flatiron building, sure it’s the architecture & shape but it’s also sits very confidently below Madison Square Park & also acts as a marker when entering downtown. If you catch it on a good day you can see the colors from sunset illuminate the right side of the building like a mirror.
It’s always a fun afternoon when Nick and I decide to act like tourists in our own city. Sure it sounds silly but when you live in one of the most famous cities of all time you have to enamor it over & over again. it simply never gets old. The best kind of outfit for exploring is obviously the casual one! When I was shopping the new pieces for this month at the Express store in SoHo I immediately took to liking the unique and fun patches they introduced. It instantly reminded me of vintage aviation & anything inspired by the past has my vote. I styled the patched white tee with an olive patched shirt over it for a funky combo. On the flipside I did incorporate black chinos and accessories to draw it by to reality. make sure to check out some other fun pieces Express has introduced this month HERE.
